Katica Illényi is leaving for Warsaw soon, but for now, she is practicing in her room in the biggest heat wave.
On June 16th she is playing at the Warsaw National Opera.
On her concert her audience will hear Franz Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2., movie hits and world famous tangos and chansons. For this occasion, the artist would like to surprise her hosts, with a piece composed by a polish composer Wojchiec Kilar. Katica included “The promise land” in her repertoire especially for this occasion, which she will perform on her violin.
She will also introduce the mystical instrument, the Theremin to the audience. As we found out, Katica will put on her tap shoes at the end of her program.
Conductor: José Maria FlorencioIn participation with The Warsaw National Opera Orchestra
