Warsaw National Opera – June 16th 2014 25th Multico Gala Concert

Katica Illényi gave her concert in the first half of the celebration, after the official opening by President Zbigniew Jakubas and Waldemar Dabrowski director of the Polish Opera. She was accompanied by the Polish National Opera Orchestra, conducted by the Brazilian José Maria Florencio.

Katica’s concert started off with Franz Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No.2. Of course, the Theremin the untouchable instrument was also introduced. It’s sound, enchanted the polish audience to an ethereal, sheer world. The highlight of the evening bought deep emotions to everyone. This was when Katica played the beautiful piece Alla Vianna, composed by the recently deceased Wojciech Killar. The music is the soundtrack of the movie The Promised Land, which was directed by the Academy Award winner, director Andrzej Wajda. The orchestration for violin and symphony orchestra was made especially for this occasion.

At the end of the program dignitaries seated in the royal box, such as Lech Walesa Nobel Peace Prize winner and former head of state, Jolanta Kwasniewska wife of the former president Aleksander Kwaśniewski , prime ministers Waldemar Pawlak, Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz, Józef Oleksy and Leszek Miller, Leszek Balcerowicz deputy prime minister father of the polish economic transformation and Waldemar Dabrowski director of the Polish Opera and a number of other major political, economic and cultural persons gave her a standing ovation. Polish president, Bronislaw Komorowsli Polish president, was on visit to Hungary for the national commemoration, so he wasn’t able to be there that evening. The occasion bought special interest, Monika Jablonska from New York attended, who is the founder and president of Nurture the World and who recently published her new book about Pope John Paul II, which is already a bestseller in South America. The applause was not only for Katica, but for the friendship between Polish and Hungarian people based on historical basis.

In the second part opera singers took the stage. The young and talented polish soprano Joanna Jakubas, and the baritone Artur Rucinsky and Giorgio Berrugi italian tenor.

In the finale, the four artists performed Verdi Traviata Champagne duet together. The audience rewarded them with a standing ovation.

Warsaw, Nemzeti Opera, 16 June, 25 éves Multico Gála koncert

Zbigniew Jakubas elnök úr és az Operház igazgatója, Waldemar Dabrowski úr hivatalos megnyitóját követően az első részben Illényi Katica adott koncertet a Lengyel Nemzeti Opera Zenekara kíséretében, José Maria Florencio, brazil karmester vezényletével.

Illényi Katica koncertje Liszt Ferenc 2. Magyar rapszódiájával kezdődött. Nem maradhatott ki a műsorból a theremin sem, amelyet nem kell megérinteni a megszólaltatásához. Csodálatos hangjai elvarázsolták a lengyel közönséget is egy éteri, szeretteljes, tiszta világba. Az est fényét magasra emelte és mély érzelmeket szakított fel a művésznő által előadott Alla Vianna c. csodálatos darab, melyet a nemrégiben elhunyt világhírű lengyel zeneszerző, Wojciech Killar komponált "Az ígéret földje földje" c. filmhez, melyet az Oscar-díjas Andrzej Wajda rendezett. A hangszerelés - szólóhegedűre szimfonikus zenekari kísérettel - erre az eseményre készült.

Illényi Katica előadása végén a díszpáholyban állva tapsolt a 70 éves, Nobel-békedíjas Lech Walesa, volt államfő, valamint Jolanta Kwasniewska, Aleksander Kwaśniewski, a Lengyel Köztársaság volt elnökének felesége, Waldemar Pawlak, Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz, Józef Oleksy, Leszek Miller miniszterelnök urak, Leszek Balcerowicz miniszterelnökhelyettes, a lengyel gazdasági átalakítás atyja és a Varsó-i Opera igazgatója, Waldemar Dabrowski úr mellett a lengyel politikai, kulturális és gazdasági élet számos továbi jelentős szereplője. Bronislaw Komorowski lengyel elnök aznap Magyarországra látogatott a Nemzeti megemlékezés napjára és nem tudott résztvenni a koncerten.

A különleges érdeklődésre számot adó gálakoncerten részt vett Monika Jablonska New Yorkból, a Nurture the World alapítója és elnöke, akinek most megjelent könyve II. János Pál Pápáról már bestseller Dél-Amerikában.

A tapsvihar egyszerre szólt a magyar művésznőnek és a közös történelmi alapokon nyugvó lengyel-magyar barátságnak.

A második részben fantasztikus operaénekesek léptek fel, a tehetséges, fiatal lengyel Joanna Jakubas szoprán, szintén lengyel Artur Rucinsky bariton és a nagyszerű olasz tenor, Giorgio Berrugi.

A fináléban mind a 4 művész színpadra lépett Verdi Traviata Pezsgő duettjével az állva ünneplő lengyel közönség előtt.

Az eseményről tv felvételt készített a lengyel állami televízió.
